This is a quarter page that I oulled out of a national free newspaper called The Metro and it was in the back of the paper which is traditionall the sports pages. It was an advert that was only relevant for the one day as it was specific to the match that was on that night.
What it does though is gets the customer to visit the website and then there is a big chance that the customer would return a second time. The thing that really jumps out whilst reading the paper is figure £460 and that a £10 bet can win you that amount, Then you read what must happen for the bet to win and although its a longshot it does seem like a very viable offer which is a very clever move from Metro. They then include a welcome offer at the bottom by saying that if you bet upto £25 they will double your stake with a free bet of upto £50 which sounds fantastic. They have then used a co-operative logo in Blue Square, who are a big betting site in the UK and they are the actual hosts of www.mebet.co.uk which is great advertising for both of them
