It appears that Chelsea isn’t in much luck to top the charts and replace Liverpool in the Premier League game once again. The match between Everton and Chelsea ended with a 0 -0 draw putting Liverpool safely in the top position. It may not be for long, but for now, Liverpool can attempt to place a wider gap between them.

Chelsea’s desire to win the match against Everton has result in a rough game displaying only physical strength and not of top-notch football skills. This was clearly demonstrated in Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard being booked for challenging the referee’s decision. Ballack was also booked at 67’ minutes and Terry at 37’ minutes was sent off court leaving Chelsea to fend the remaining match.

A person worth mentioning is goalkeeper Petc Cech who was constantly defending Everton’s attacks and ensuring that Chelsea did not lose a single point in this intense Premier League Games. It appears that Everton came close to creating their first goal for this match as Osman and Fellaini displayed good chemistry but was blocked by Petc Cech. Later on, a penalty kick was issued and Yobo took it head on. It was once again blocked by Chelsea’s goalkeeper as he diligently keep Everton in place.

Not long after which Chelsea also picked up speed and challenged Everton as seen in the display of Ballack getting in a good position to strike, which did not see through eventually.

Now, Chelsea remains in 2nd position and Everton in 7th.
